We pride ourselves on offering a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment that supports each child and their family as individuals. We know the importance of relationships that build trust and understanding between ourselves, our children and our parents and so place much emphasis on developing these.

We believe children:

  • need love and affection to keep them secure, so we offer a key worker system.
  • need an environment that is safe, but offers challenges, is stimulating and varied, but most importantly encompasses their interests and needs.
  • learn most effectively when they are happy and feel valued, so we include them in everything we do, by seeking their views and opinions and giving them autonomy.

We believe that parents know their children best and so we listen and consult with them and enable them to contribute towards their children's assessment.

We give a genuine welcome upon arrival at nursery and we make time to give feedback upon collection. We have regular scheduled meetings with parents and we also have an open door policy for any impromptu discussions. We welcome the active involvement of parents, especially on special occasions.

We publish a bi-monthly newsletter to keep parents informed of nursery issues and events.

At Church View, your child will be cared for by a committed team who are fully trained and qualified to a minimum of level 3. Some of our staff are graduates and hold EYPS. They have been carefully selected for their personal qualities and ability to provide warmth, affection, and dedication, thus ensuring a happy nursery with a lively, stimulating and caring atmosphere.
